Car seat canopy

Nick's aunt Suzy picked the fabric and I sewed it.

Free Motion Quilting

This was a gift, the front is a precious moments panel, the back is tricot, and the binding is satin, weird mix but I like how it turned out.
I really like free motion quilting, it takes patience but I like the results.

More Quiet Books

Maylee's Book took forever. It took the longest of any I've done. I'm going to blame Jessica and her constant chatter. hehehe. Hopefully Maylee will love it.
Embroidered Name on cover
Zippered cover, so things won't fall out, handle for little hands to carry easily.

dress up
ballet slipper for learning to tie. (Very girly)
Snap on autumn leaves, summer leaves, and flowers for different seasons

This car is just like maylee's daddy VW bug, custom made. Except for the tires, they don't look the same at all.

zoo finger puppets
zippered lady bug

Payton's name is repeated all around the shoe

Parker's name is repeated around this shoe, it's just hard to see in the light blue.

Quiet Book

This quiet book was made for my husbands cousins kid. His aunt asked me to make it, she asked me how hard they were to make. I told her they aren't hard, just very time consuming. It took me a little over a week, she gave me a few months but when someone is expecting something I try not to take too long. I don't want to upset anyone.
I wanted to make a cover that had a zipper so that the little items would not fall out and be lost. This is where I found the tutorial for making it. http://sewing.about.com/od/giftideaspersonal/ss/bookcover.htm
It was helpful but not very clear. I don't know if I'm retarded or the lady is just not good at explaining things online. I wish it would have had more pictures. :( But I'm happy with how the cover turned out.
Hopefully little Jack will love it.
